Welcome to the 'Finals Edition' of the Bear Facts

As the regular season comes to an end it's always the aim to have teams involved in 'finals football'. This year, out of 7 teams, we have 4 progressing to play in semi finals.

Also this year, the Club is honoured to be hosting the NNSW Football Womens Premier League grand final.

To bring such an event to the coalfields is a fantastic opportunity to watch the best female football players in the north.

For all of our local clubs who have female players - junior and senior - we ask that you spread the word so all of our future Matildas can be inspired.

U13s Premiers

Momentum is an amazing thing. The Bears U13s have certainly been part of an amazing feat winning their past 14 games and claiming the premiership.

From all of us at the Club we congratulate this team of super players. We also thank their dedicated coach-Steve Macintosh, manager-Grant Clouten and Club TD-Kew Jaliens.

If we sound proud of these guys - we are! Just as we are of all our youth players and coaches.

We believe greatly in youth development and seek to provide young players with the best environment to improve.

Thank you to our sponsors

In this new age of the NPL we are very fortunate to have many new and long term sponsors. We cannot do it without them and for their support we are extremely grateful.
Please visit our sponsors page and support those who support our Club.

A huge shout out to Ground Naming sponsor Rockwell Automation and Club Corporate sponsor EATON for their superb support. A look to our ever improving facility and emerging youth players is evidence their support is making a difference in our community.

I hope you find this special 'finals edition' newsletter of interest and we see you at a semi final, youth home game or the Women's Premier League Grand Final enjoying the beautiful game.

C’Mon you Bears!!
