Ground
Weston's home ground, Rockwell Automation Park, has been the home of Weston Football club since 1955 and witnessed some of the greatest players and teams in the history of Northern Football. The famous park also boasts some of the best facilities in the North.
A grandstand, completed in the early eighties straddles the halfway line. It has upstairs seating with a small terraced area on ground level. The stand has change room facilities for home, away teams and a referee's room. Office facilities and a canteen are also included in its design.
There have been significant upgrades to the facility from 2010 and this will continue with the decision from Cessnock City Council in 2020 to implement a master plan which will completely overhaul the football facility to make it one of the best community football facilities in norther NSW.
A new amenities block will provide appropriate changing, physio and gym facilities for the club to introduce a female football program.
The grandstand will be completely revamped and refitted to serve as a clubhouse/office/meeting facility. New public amenities and large storage areas will address the future growth of the club.
Already new LED flood lighting has been installed on the main pitch, an electronic scoreboard and two raised viewing areas constructed. These viewing areas link with paths and have ramped access making Weston's ground one of the best to access and watch football for everyone.
