Fees Policy

Authorised by: Weston Bears FC Committee

Applies to: All Weston FC Selected Players

Date effective: October 2023

Next review date: October 2025

Version No:  v.1.0

1.1 Subject

Club policy on club playing fees.

1.2 Purpose

To ensure all adult players, and youth families understand the football club’s position regarding:

• Payment of club fees

• Consequences of non-payment of club fees

1.3 Principle

It is the responsibility of the adult player or player(s) family to ensure that playing fees are paid and up-to-date with the dates nominated by the club. Whilst the fees can be paid when invoiced, the club offers a payment plan to assist families in managing the cost as follows. These details can be found on your invoice.

Please note,

  1. The deposit of $150 for when the team position was offered will be applied to the final balance instalment.

  2. If you have additional Active Kids Vouchers these can be provided to the club via admin@westonfc.com.au and this will be applied to the account and relevant payment when received from Service NSW.

  3. 1st and 2nd payments are timed to ensure the club can acquire the kits for the players.

Therefore these need to be paid on time so the funds are available to pay the suppliers. As every family’s situation is different, should payments become problematic please contact the club at admin@westonfc.com.au as soon as possible to offer a proposal that suits your personal circumstances. Approved payment plans will be via direct debit arrangements.

1.3 Outcome

Whilst we don’t want to affect the players and team development, the club is a non-profit entity and therefore these payments are needed to pay the suppliers each year.

Failure to adhere to this policy will provide the club no alternative but to enact the following action:

  1. Contact with the parents to discuss

  2. Clothing may not be issued until suitable arrangements are made

  3. Player is stood down until the issue is resolved
