Established in 1992 the Swifts are coached by Bears great Peter Killen and managed by Michael Haines. Spoils were shared through the season in 1st Grade with a win apiece followed by a draw. Reserve Grade had 1 win and 2 draws with results indicating both Swifts sides are more than capable of taking the titles.
The Swifts are greatful to the Chelmsford Hotel for their sponsorship in 2009. Next year the Chellie will be on board again with the relationship continuing to grow and blossom.
Also, without the the supporters who turn up week in, week out, the results would not have been as good and this has not gone un-noticed by the players.

- Gates will open at 11:30.
- Admission is free and all patrons are reminded that no alcohol is to be brought into the ground.
- Supporters wanting to bring cars into the ground are welcome but a condition of entry includes the searching of car boots.
Note! - It is against the law and council regulations to bring alcohol into the ground.
