Formalities saw the Bears 4 junior sides and 3 senior sides presented to the crowd and each coach interviewed.

Head Coach Michael Boogaard provided further insight to this seasons preparations and announced that the senior captains for 2010 will be Chris Cousins (1st grade) & William Whitelaw (U/23s).


Other captains named earlier include:
U13s – Jacob Golding
U14s – Mitchell Fisher
U15s – Jordan White

U17s – Aidan McKenna
U18s – Luke Merchant

neil fellows john wolinski graham snedden The night however held a twist when it was announced that there were 3 special awards to be presented to 3 magnificent club servants.
Neil Fellows and Graham Snedden were awarded Honorary Membership for their many years and roles involved with the Club. 
John Wolinski was presented Life Membership for his dedication with the Bears. John now holds 2 life memberships, having already been presented this honour with Maitland Rugby League. 
Congratulations guys on your awards and thank you for your continued involvement at Weston - We can't do it without people like you.
