The U/17s went down 2-0 but will benfit from the hit out. This is largely a new team and their second half performance was encouraging.

The U/15s won a lively game 4-3. Goalscorers for the 15s were Jake Robinson, Jai Hancock, Jourdan Evans & and an own goal saw the Bears home. 

Weston's U/14s netted 4 goals and as with the 17s will benefit from the hit out. Goalscorers were; Jackson Hough, Isaac Peek, Blake Kedwell Griffiths & Mason Brett. 

The Bears youngest group and newest side won 6-2 and were most impressive in their approach to the game. Jayden Hinds got his season off to a flyer finding the net on 4 occasions. Matt Rees and Nick Hough rounded out the 6 with 1 apiece.

This Saturday the sides take on Broadmeadow Magic at Thomas & Coffey Park playing prior to the seniors. Game times are:

U/13s 9:00am

U/14s 10:15am

U/15s 11:30am

U/17s 12:45pm

In what promises to be a great day of football the Club encourages all junior players to attend the senior matches later in the day and cheer on the boys in their top of the table clash with Edgeworth where they will also witness Chris Cousins play his 100th first grade game. Chris came to Weston aged 13 years, has had a distinguished playing career and will now become part of the Bears 100 Club.
