Key points to COVID-19 'Level C' Return to play Update:
Youth & SAP:
Premier Club Youth and SAP are considered as 'community football' as it is not required to keep records for these matchdays.
As such everyone should be encouraged to keep it to one parent / carer where possible for these match days.
Furthermore, grandparents, aunts/uncles and other family members and supporters should remain home to assist in the prevention of community transmission.
Senior NPL:
Unlike community football premier club grounds, which are enclosed grounds and have instituted record keeping, can still permit spectators to matches.
However, given the most recent advice – they must ensure that they comply with the ongoing Public Health Order (PHO).
Return To Play
For those attending games, please practice good hygiene, social distancing of 1.5 metres between individuals, and as quickly as possible, ‘get in, play, and get out’ so as avoid any unnecessary co-mingling.
- All participants, including players, match officials and spectators, are excluded from football training and games if they have visited Victoria in the past 14 days
- Similarly, all participants including players, match officials and spectators should exclude themselves from any football activity if they have attended any of the reported case locations on the NSW Health website
- Where sufficient numbers to field a team cannot be achieved, work with the respective competition administrator (the club or Association) and prioritise delaying the game or event to another date, rather than using and mixing players from other teams.
- Players, team officials, parents/guardians and other club members must not attend training or games, if in the past 14 days they have been:
- been unwell or had any flu-like symptoms, or
- been in contact with a known or suspected case of COVID-19, or
- any sudden loss of smell or loss of taste, or
- are at a high risk from a health perspective, including the elderly and those with pre-existing medical heath conditions.
It is important that the football family supports the NSW Government and the broader community by limiting the number of spectators attending matched and encouraging participants to continue social distancing measures whenever possible.
This is effective immediately and is vital for the successful continuation of our competitions throughout the state.

From 1 July, the documentation on this page supersedes Return to Training – Level 1 Guidelines which were in affect from AEST Tuesday 26 May 2020.
As football returns, the onus is on the individual to ensure they are doing the right thing to protect themselves and others, just like when you attend the supermarket, school, restaurant or pub.
Everyone has a responsibility to do the right thing and stop the spread of COVID-19.
Anyone attending any football activity whether it be training, community match days or Premier games, are asked to uphold Public Health Orders, maintain 1.5m from each other, maintain good hygiene and follow advice of club officials and volunteers.
All Return to Play documentation supersedes the previous Return to Training Guidelines unless otherwise advised. The COVID-19 situation remains fluid and we as a sport need to ensure we continue work with government at all levels to maintain the safety of ourselves and others.

The NSW Government through the Community Building Partnerships (CBP) grants invests in infrastructure projects that deliver positive social, environmental and recreational outcomes while promoting community participation, inclusion and cohesion.
The Bears are very thankful to have had their CBP application approved to install a new 'full colour LED video/board scoreboard' at the ground.
It is a very exciting project for the club which will deliver many benefits for those using and attending the facility.
