Weston Workers Bears FC welcomes Darren Elkin's appointment as assistant coach to Michael Boogaard for the 2010 season.
Darren has an extensive footballing history, having played alongside and coached some of the best during his career.

James "Skeeta" Wilkinson & Jim McNab, already part of the Weston 'Team of The Century' were inducted into the the NNSW 'Team of Era' at the recent 125 year anniversary dinner. It's been a good week for the Bears with 3 current players named in the NNSW representative team to take on Victoria. This latest news highlights further the clubs incredible constancy throughout the years. C'Mon you Bears!
Both Weston junior teams have gone down in tightly contested Major Semi Finals.
The U/13's went down 2-1 in extra time against Broadmeadow. They will now meet Valentine next week in the Final at Medowie - kick off 10:00am.
Our U/15s lost 3-1 conceding 2 late goals. The boys now meet Maitland next week at Thornton - kick off 11:00am
