A fruitful day for the Bears saw both the U/23s and First Grade notch up strong wins.
First grade won 6 nil with goals to Rhys Tippett, Tyson Fletcher, Robbie Turnbull and a net bulging, match ball winning, hat trick, to Jason Cowburn.
U/23s snapped a sequence of 6 draws also winning 6 nil. Luke johnston, Mick Ryan, Hayden Witherspoon, Nick Volker and a brace to Max Wallington sealed a fine win.
U/18s lost 1 nil.

Round 15 saw the Bears welcome old rivals West Wallsend. The match was crucial as a loss would see the Bears not only miss out on any chance of the Semi Finals but also entrench them in 7th spot.

 

The Bears were still without Jason Cowburn who was serving the final game of his 2 game suspension but they welcomed back Robbie Turnbull after he missed last week's game also due to suspension.
