With the youth teams washed out, it was the SAP & Senior teams that saw action.

SAP enjoyed the break in the weather on Saturday morning and it was great to see the U9s strutting their stuff with great enthusiasm and plenty of skill on show.

The seniors welcomed Lake Macquarie on Sunday and were looking to keep the positive lead in and start to the season.
Results on the day were:

1sts | Bears 2:1 Lakes
Goalscorers: A. Tega, J. Subat

U20 | Bears 1:1 Lakes
Goalscorer: S. Ford

U18 | Bears 1:1 Lakes
Goalscorer: S. Bidstrup

After a first week bye the Bears NPL Youth played their first games of their season as they traveled to Darling St and took on Olympic.
Some great football was played by all teams with really positive signs for the season ahead. Well done all.
C'mon you Bears!!!

U13 Olympic 2:0 Bears
U14 Olympic 3:4 Bears
U15 Olympic 1:3 Bears
U16 Olympic 5:1 Bears

SAP also kicked off their season in Singleton and it was fantastic to hear how well both teams played and the spirit they played in.

Remember to stay and watch the next team play to cheer on your club mates. It really does help a lot.
