Please be advised:
Due to the recent wet weather a venue change has been made for Friday & Saturday.
All Pool A fixtures have been moved to Turner Park Cessnock. The schedule & times as per the original draw will remain unchanged.
Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) has released the official fixture draw for the 2017 Heritage Cup to all participating clubs.
The draw will see NNSWF's four oldest continuous clubs play each other on the first night of the tournament.
The Hunter Region's rich football history will be recognised and those clubs who put the game where it is today will be acknowledged, with the pilot event to take place over the weekend of March 3-4-5.
As a pilot year for the Heritage Cup, NNSWF has only selected clubs within the NNSW Premier Competitions to trial the concept and to gauge support for the competition in the busy pre-season window, with the exception of Maryland Fletcher FC as the area represents the first ever football club established in Northern NSW, being Minmi Rangers.
At the conclusion of the tournament, further evaluation will be made and it is hoped that in the future more clubs that meet the required criteria from the Hunter Region and beyond can be invited to participate in the initiative.
The Bears are in Pool 'A' and will play at Turner Park, Cessnock.

Teeing off early we were fortunate to see the rain clear allowing for great golfing conditions and many questionable golfing shots.
Eventualy however, through natural attrition, we had a winning team! The best of the rest were 'The Tour Flops' of Nathan Morris, Rob Macbeth, Darren Elkin and Jason Cowburn. Congratuations lads.
A huge shout out to Steve Piggott for organising the day. Big thanks to all the volunteers and players and a massive thank you to our prize sponsors;
- David Ragg – Harvey Norman Blacktown

Again, thanks to all for making this years golf day such a success.

The Bears Women's team playedagainst WPL powerhouse Wallsend FC.
It was a valuable hit against quality opposition providing all with an insight to the exciting challenges ahead.
C'mon you Bears!!!
The Bears Head Coach is very happy with how his young team is coming together...
"It's definitely been a busy pre season but also a really enjoyable one.
Football works in cycles and this year we have seen some long serving senior players leave the club and welcomed quite a few new faces.
To the lads who have moved on to other clubs, thank you for your outstanding service. We wish you well and look forward to catching up through the season and beyond.
For 2017 I am really excited about the group that has come together. We are a young squad with an average age that is under 21yrs and with that has come the natural exuberance and willingness to work hard - and they have!
We will look to have one or two more join the squad but, only if it adds to the quality.
The next month will be a great test as to where we are at and what needs to be tweaked. It all kicks off with games against Edgeworth followed by Spirit FC, Northern Tigers and the Central Coast Mariners.
I look forward to updating you throughout the year on the progress of the senior squads and seeing you at the ground cheering the Bears on".
