It's not every day you can say you know someone who is teeing off in an international golf tournament - But imagine knowing the caddie too!!!
Bears Honorary Member, Mark Forster (The Great Black Bear) is representing Australia at the BMW Golf Cup International Final at the NSW Golf Club in Sydney.
Mark started amongst a total pool of over 3000 participants, then onto a field of 99 at the Australian Final where he sealed his position in the final.
Knowing he would need a caddie, Mark shunned the offers of many professionals and asked good mate, Bears Life Member, Groundsman and mower racer - Neil Fellows, to guide him around the NSW Golf Club course.
We are all looking forward to hearing about the tournament and all of us wish you the very best.
C'mon you Bears!!!

Another scorcher of a day and another great effort from everyone - thank you and well done all.
As mentioned in previous weeks, be sure to recover properly!
The Bears had a real workout in the FFA Cup game against Newcastle Uni this morning at Speers Point.
Against a dogged defence, it was Weston who went behind early. Goals from Nathan Morris and James Monie looked to set the Bears straight but Uni struck again to make it 2-2 at full time. On to penalties which Weston went on to win 4-3.
Weston, while dominant throughout, spurned at least half a dozen golden opportunities to add to the scoresheet. Add a great display from the Uni keeper and it was one of those typical cup games.
Weston travelled to Cessnock to take on the Hornets in their second hit out of the pre season.
The U22s hit their straps with a 4-1 win.
First grade were out of the box quickly scoring 3 quick goals. A 4th was also added before the Hornets found the net. The sting then went out of the game with Weston again finding the net to make it 5 and Cessnock netting with 2 late on. it finished 5-3 to the Bears.
The Bears were involved in a number of trials on Friday night.
First grade and U22s headed to Broadmeadow in their first real, game based, hit out of the pre season against a Magic team with several already under their belt.
In the end it was a 3-1 loss but in a game with lots of changes and combinations it was very a useful exercise. Troy Hearfield netted his first for the Bears with a very tidy goal.
U22s played out a 3-2 loss.
The U17s and U19s took on Lakes with the U17s winning 1-0 and the U19s dominant in a 8-0 win.
