A big shout out to the Bears Youth Convenor Darren Skippen and his wife Kesley on their 21st Wedding Anniversary.
Congratulations and best wishes to a great couple and family, from all of us at the Bears.
P.S. - Just an observation, so keep it quiet........ buuuuuut, looking at 'young' Skippy's height and hair - it looks like the milkman got in first!
C'mon you Skippy's!!!
Due to unfortunate injuries our U15 squad is looking for a player of NPL standard.
If you would like further information about this opportunity please contact U15s coach, Craig Maddison, on (m) 0417 596 766.
The Weston Workers Bears Football Club extends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Ryan Egan.
Ryan had previously played in our youth teams and is well known to many at our Club.
News such as this is felt hard within our community and we encourage any of our young players that are grappling with the enormity of this tragedy to please talk with someone.
Back on the green, green, grass of Rockwell Automation Park Weston hosted round 2 and welcomed Charlestown Blues.
On the back of a strong round 1 the young Bears came into today very positive and after todays results, against some quality opposition, can continue to be very happy about their start to the season.
Well done lads - keep it up!
