NPL17

The last home game for the Bears this year saw them welcome Adamstown Rosebud to Rockwell Automation Park.

The weather was changing and the Bears were looking for a change in their own fortunes too.

The U19s continued their winning ways with a good 4-2 victory.

The under 22s were dominant in a 4-0 win that keeps their semi final hopes alive.

First grade, in front of the 'Olde Bears' and at home for the last time this year wanted something special.... and delivered.

Off to a flyer the Bears went ahead in the first 3 minutes with a headed goal to Lee Ashton. While creating numerous other chances it remained 1-0 t the break.

The second half saw the floodgates open - in the skies and on the field as the Bears skipped to a 3-0 lead thanks to a Joel Barner brace. Adamstown pulled one back but it was Nathan Morris who headed home from a corner to maintain the 3 goal buffer and see out a 4-1 win and a song to sing!

YOUTH

The Bears youth were back on home soil to face the Edgeworth Eagles.

In great conditions for football the performances our players have come to expect of themselves were well and truly on display, no matter the result.

Well done everyone, keep up the great work and...

C'mon you Bears!!!
