Some super performances were delivered in what is always a difficult set of games. It's very pleasing, against quality opposition, to see the Weston players and coaches continuing to work to high standards.

Weston were on the road this weekend and travelled to face old rivals Adamstown Rosebud on a perfect day for football.
A great start to the day was provided by the U19s taking care of business in a 2-0 win.
The U22s continued their run with a fine 3-0 victory.
First grade still looking for their first win went into this game as positive as they have been this year. The game had plenty of opportunities and it was the Buds that took theirs not long after the break. Weston equalised shortly after when Isaak Peek was brought down in the box through some great work from Gary McDermott and Nathan Morris converting. We didn't have to wait long for another goal, this time the Buds, from a messy corner and although Weston certainly toiled and went searching for the equaliser but the scores remained 2-1 to Adamstown.
