The PS4 National Premier League Youth competition kicked off over the weekend which saw our lads head to Darling St to take on the always well prepared Olympic Teams.
Unfortunately it wasn't to be a happy hunting day for the Junior Bears with Olympic taking the points in all grades. That said there are some great signs from all teams and overall we are looking good.
On an extremely positive note the feedback from the Olympic Officials at Darling St on our sportsmanship and behaviour was extremely positive. Well done lads you've exemplified the Bears spirit play hard and fair!

The Weston Workers Bears Football Club are pleased to welcome back to the Club, goalkeeper, Benn Kelly.
Benn arrives with a great track record in first grade with Weston, Maitland, Azzuri and Olympic with a strong work ethic on and off the field. His arrival also brings added competition to the goalkeeping ranks which is healthy for the Club to progress.
Benn will join his new Club-mates immediately and we look forward to seeing him in Weston colours.
Weston Bears aim to blend youth with experience in 2016
"We had a very settled team for the last four or five years and not many people broke into it," he said.
