Weston were on the road again and travelled to Lisle Carr Oval to take on Charlestown in their 6th round NPL game.
The U19s have had a super start to the season and have really impressed with a mature, consistent approach to their games. Today they continued their focus with a fine 2-1 win.
The 22s have also found some form and recorded their 2nd consecutive victory netting 3 times in a 3-2 win. It's great to have such depth and competition for places in the senior squad.

The game was only 4min old when Garry McDermott fired home a scorcher to give the Bears a perfect start. The second half was much the same and Nathan Morris then doubled the lead from the penalty spot in the 60th and the Bears looked in control. With 15 mins to play the game was lit up by some super work by young guns Paul Clout and Jake Millsteed. Clout with some great work playing a superb ball through to Millsteed who made no mistake with a fine curling shot into the onion bag.
Weston are back home next week and take on Hamilton Olympic in what will be a cracker of a round.
