Free-kick specialist Nathan Morris the hero
By JOSH LEESON and JAMES GARDINER
THE stage could not have been set any better yesterday for Weston stalwart Nathan Morris against Edgeworth at Bear Park.
It was Morris's 200th Northern NSW National Premier League game and the score was locked at 2-2 with 10minutes to go when the Bears won a free kick centre field and 25 metres out.

Nathan Morris couldn't have scripted the finish of his 200th game better himself.

Weston Welcomed old foes Edgeworth to Rockwell Automation Park for their Round 14 clash.
The 19s kicked the day off in fine style winning 1-0 with a goal to Jacob Golding.
The U22s went to the sheds 1-1 at half time and by full time were still sharing the points in a 3-3 draw.
First grade needed to rebound after last weeks loss to Olympic. They needed no motivation, it was Edgy and Nathan Morris was playing in his 200th first grade game.
Carl Thornton gave the Bears an early lead with a close range shot. Edgy levelled in the 37th and that's how it went to oranges.
After the break Edgy applied the blowtorch and created a number of chances. This was rewarded in the 75th for a 1-2 lead. It wasn't held for long and it was 'Brother Bear' Liam Thornton who found himself on the scoresheet after cleverly following in on the keeper and depositing the spilled ball into the net, 2-2.
With the game evenly ballanced and time running out you could not have scripted it better. A guy playing in his 200th first grade game - it's late in the match - a free kick well outside the area - he's a free kick specialist - he scores the winner with a pinpoint free kick - Imagine that happening....... roll the tape NBN NEWS
