The last round saw the Bears travel to Lisle Carr Oval and take on the Blues.

On a very heavy pitch Weston fell behind to an early goal but were soon back on level terms via in form striker Mick Ryan in the 20th min.

Mick struck again in the 30th and 2-1 to the Bears is how the teams went to the sheds.

The second half saw the Bears continue their dominance but the failure to hit the target on numerous occasions would eventually come back to bite. And so, with just a few minutes left Charlestown found the net to tie it all up at 2-2.

It was a result so typical of the Bears season which, while frustrating, also showed how well this team can play and gives great encouragement for next year.

Well done lads, enjoy a rest and we'll see you on presentation night!

Congratulations to the Weston Workers Bears U16s who have won their premiership. Although their game was cancelled today other results from games that did take place ensured the young Bears cannot be caught at the top of the table.

Many of this team are from last years premiership winning squad and the Club congratulates all the players, coaches- Jim Richardson & Matt Jurd and manager - Bill Duncan, on this fantastic achievement.

C'MON YOU BEARS!!!
