Work has begun on the Bears new training / playing area. Located directly behind the main field this space will provide a high quality training ground, game day warm up area and eventually an extra playing field.
These pictures show the initial work that has started with the irrigation channels and lines now underway.
This project has been initiated by the Club through fundraising efforts and a successful grant application from the NSW Government 'Community Building Partnership' program. The Club has also had fantastic support from Cessnock Council and in particular their Grants Officer, Rhiannon Stevens, who's help has been invaluable during the application phase.
We look forward to updating the progress of this project and sincerely thank all those who have helped this project get off the ground and become a reality.
