The Bears were back at Thomas and Coffey Park for the 2nd week running when they hosted Broadmeadow Magic for the 3rd round of the NBN State League.
Before the match got underway Robbie Turnbull joined an exclusive club when he was presented with the 100 Club Badge for playing his 100th first grade game for The Bears. Robbie came to the Bears a teenager and made an instant impact on the pitch when he came off the bench to score in his first grade debut against Edgeworth. The club would like to congratulate Robbie on his achievement and look forward to watching Robbie as he continues towards his goal of 200+ first grade games for the club.

The Bears were back at Thomas and Coffey Park for their round 2 game against Toronto Awaba.
The match was barely 1 minute old when Mick Ryan ran onto a through ball and got behind the defence. Ryan was about to take on the Awaba keeper when he was pulled down from behind but the referee failed to see the obvious foul and unbelievably waved play on.
