Weston's NPL youth teams made the trip north to take on Football Mid North Coast
In tough conditions and the added issues that travel brings the young Bears certainly experienced football on the road and how important home ground advantages are. Thank you to all families on your commitment to make the trip north and helping the players learn new experiences through football - win, lose or draw.

C'mon you Bears!!!
Following the very sad news of the passing of Local Councillor and Long time supporter of our Football Club, Mr Jeff Maybury, our sincere condolences & thoughts are with his wife Pat and their extended family at this difficult time.
At this Saturdays game our Club will honour Jeff. Teams will wear black armbands, club flags will be flown at half mast and a minutes silence held in respect and thanks from a community he served so well.
Rest In Peace Jeff.
Saddened by death of Cr Jeff Maybury this evening. Jeff was a classic rough diamond who gave so much in so many ways. He served in our armed forces, fed the poor, spent 30+yrs on Council, managed a community crew to keep Weston beautiful, spent countless hours fighting for Kurri Kurri hospital -just to name a few. Thoughts are with his wife Pat and the extended family. Well done Jeff Maybury - you made sure that your life was a full one. Thank you for all that you gave.

Weston travelled to Lambton to take on the Jaffas in round 12 of the NPL.
The U19s continued their super season with a fine 2-0 win that keeps them at the top of the table.
The U22s went down in a narrow one, losing 1-0.
First grade saw people dragging out all the cliches such as 'it was a game of 2 halves' & there was plenty of 'squeaky bum' time. 7 goals, dominant sides in each half and value for money if you're a neutral.
In a nutshell... The 1st half, Weston were dominant and took a 3-0 lead to the sheds. 2nd half, it was the Jaffas turn and they took a 4-3 win at full time.
Next week the Bears are at home to the Jets and it's 'Olde Bears' day too!!!
C'mon you Bears!!!
Weston's NPL youth teams were home again this week and welcomed Edgeworth to Rockwell Automation Park.
In beautiful conditions and on a great deck for football the young Bears, again, showed that targets can be reached and lessons to be learnt - win, lose or draw. Well done everyone and keep up the super work lads.
