Weston welcomed South Cardiff to Rockwell Automation Park for their round 11 NPL tie.
It was certainly an entertaining 3 games that saw 20 goals scored across the 3 grades.
Half of those goals came from the U19s game where a rampant Bears outfit ran out 8-2 winners.
The U22s were then in a goalfest themselves but on the wrong end of a 3-6 result.
First grade wanted to get back in the winners circle after a weeks break but it was never going to be easy against a Southy side near the bottom of the table.
The first half saw Weston create chances but some good keeping, throughout the game, was thwarting their efforts and it was 0-0 at half time.
The second half was a similar story until Troy Hearfield popped up and netted a deserved winner for the Bears.
C'mon you Bears!!!
Weston's NPL youth teams were back on home turf this week as they hosted Maitland at Rockwell Automation Park.
The weather was perfect, the pitch was in super condition and the young Bears were in fine form. Results aside, hats off to the players and coaches who continue to set high standards for themselves to reach.
