Weston's NPL youth teams were back on home soil as they took on the Lambton Jaffas.
As always great efforts, results and lessons learnt. As we start heading towards the season's end it's important to keep the discipline and focus as strong as when the season started. Well done boys.

The Weston Bears bounced back with a 2-1 win against the Jets Youth at Rockwell Automation Park on Saturday.
A double by 18-year-old New Zealand import Paul Clout sealed the victory, which moved the Bears into equal third position with Lambton Jaffas and a point behind second-placed Hamilton Olympic....

Weston welcomed the Jets Youth to Rockwell Automation Park for their round 13 NPL match.
The U19s continue to show that hard work, commitment to each other and discipline will provide results winning 2-0 via goals to Brock Lewsam & Mitchel Fisher.
The U22s up and down run of results continued with a 0-4 loss that looked worse on the scoreboard than it really was.
For 1st grade both teams were welcomed onto the park by a large contingent of Olde Bears, there to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the 1995 grand final clean sweep, who formed a guard of honour.
Each playing side, officials, Olde Bears and the whole ground attendance then bowed their heads in a wonderfully observed minutes silence in respect of Jeff Maybury who sadly passed away earlier in the week.
First grade were out to prove a point after last weeks capitulation at Lambton and were good to their word. Falling behind early the Bears continued to try and play and were rewarded with a goal to Paul Clout before half time. The second half saw the Bears continue to look impressive. Wilson Edwards was in fine form in the midfield and it was young Paul Clout who snared his second securing his brace and the winner for Weston in front of a very appreciative crowd.
