SEN TSWeston were back home at Rockwell Automation Park and welcomed fellow high flyers Hamilton Olympic. With all other games cancelled due to the weather Weston can truly be thankful to have a facility that can deal with the elements and fantastic people who work on it.

The U19s were first cab off the rank today and took a 1-0 lead to the sheds. They eventually ran out 2-1 winners with J.Golding and I.Peek bulging the net for the Bears.

U22s were all tied up at nil all at oranges but evetually went down 0-2.

1st grade were looking to keep their unbeaten run going with coach, Steve Piggott, asking for more clinical finishing in front of goal. 23 mins into the game, Jamie Subat who is finding the net regulary was at it again. Weston doubled their lead 4 minutes later. This time, Jason Cowburn scored from the spot after Tom Sparre (left) was brought down in the box. The 2 goal buffer was short lived after a handball decision went against the Bears and it was D Hodgson who converted.

The second half was bound to see more goals and Jamie Subat snared himself a brace after a cheeky back heel from Jason Cowburn teed him up to renew the 2 goal advantage. This was again cut short when another penalty was awarded to Olympic and it was that man Hodgson again who scored.

It was now squeaky bum time as Olympic chased the game and Weston strived to keep the 3 points. The Squeaks got louder when Jamie Subat was given his marching orders 19 minutes from time but the Bears did enough to claim the points and top spot on the NPL ladder.

NBN TV footage of todays game can be viewed here.

Today also saw the new Club flag flying and with great feedback received.

Well done to all today and...

C'mon you Bears
