In a rain affected fixture that saw the u19s & U22s called off days earlier, the Bears first grade squad travelled to Arthur Edden Oval to take on the Jaffas.
Missing Morris & Ryan but welcoming back McDermott (right), Weston were keen to build on their unbeaten start to the season. They didn't have to wait long until Jason Cowburn found the net from a header in the 9th minute. Weston, as in the past 2 games continued to create chances and deservedly took their lead to the sheds.
With the going tough on a heavy paddock it was Jobe Wheelhouse who levelled for Lambton with a fine strike. This was cancelled out shortly after when the Bears were awarded a penalty which was slotted home by Jamie Subat. This saw the game out and 3 points in Weston's favour.
The Bears are back home at Rockwell Automation Park next week when they take on Hamilton Olympic.
