Weston's U15s saw action this weekend taking on Edgeworth at Ulinga Oval.

A goal by Dylan Bentley was enough to separate the teams and give the young Bears a 1-0 victory.

Well done guys and...

The Bears welcomed Lake Macquarie to Rockwell Automation Park for round 7 of the NBN State League.

The U17s continued their fine form with a 2-0 victory.

Weston's U19s were on the wrong end of a 3-2 scoreline in what was a tight game.

The U23s unfortunately had to be abandoned on the 38 minute mark due to a bad injury to a Lake Macquarie player that required an ambulance to be called.
All of us at the Bears would like to wish this young bloke a speedy recovery and we hope to see you back on the field ASAP.

First grade continued their winning ways with a 2-1 victory. Having gone behind in the 2nd minute it was Jason Cowburn in the 9th who leveled terms. Jason again bulged the net with a 'Cowburn Special' to give the Bears the lead. Weston should have added quite a few more to the scoreline but in the end it remained 2-1 and keeping the Bears in 2nd spot.

RTThe Bears travelled to South Cardiff to take on the Gunners.

Ulinga Oval is always a difficult place to visit with points always hard won.

The U17s contiued their fine form with a come from behind 4-1 victory.

Our U19s had 1 all draw after both teams scored in 1st 10 minutes of the match.

U23s are working hard but unfortuantely went down 2-0.

First grade needing the points to stay in touch at the top of the table took a 1-0 lead to the sheds at half time. Southy clawed one back after the break and then had a pleayer sent off. This provided Weston the numerical advantage and it was Robbie Turnbull (left) who popped up late in the game to bulge the net and snare the 3 points for Weston in a 2-1 victory.

Weston's younger teams were in action today and as always did their best wearing the black and white vertical stripe.

The U14s fine start to the season continued with a 2-0 victory over Edgeworth with Brayden Mortimer and Sam Hurney netting for the Bears.

Our U15s took on Broadmeadow and went down 3-1.

The Bears U16s played Mayfield with both teams having a share of the points in a 0-0 draw.

Thanks for your efforts guys and remember....

C'mon you Bears!!!
