The Bears travelled over the Blue Gum to Edgeworth for the top of the table round 12 clash. A win would see the Bears winning run extended to 4 matches but more importantly give them a handy 6 point buffer between themselves and the 3rd placed Edgeworth.

Starting matches slowly has been a thing of the past for the Bears this season, so it was no surprise to see the Edgeworth goal under pressure with chances falling to Jamie Subat and Mick Holt both coming within the first 2 mins of play.
