Well done everyone and...
C'mon you Bears!!!
After some great midweek results against Hamilton the Bears had to head to Cahill Oval and take on a Valentine side chasing points.
The U17s looking to maintain their discipline and extend their run had a fine 3-1 win.
Weston's U19s have had an up and down year but again showed what they are capable of in a 3-1 victory.
The young U23s have had some really positive results but this time were on the wrong end of a 3-2 loss.
First grade after a fine win against Hamilton on Thursday were a little light on with 100 Club members Nathan Morris, Robbie Turnbull and Mick Ryan unavailable for this game. This however saw a number of young lads who have been impressing recently step up again and gain some more experience.
It was a game in which the Bears had their chances but just couldn't convert and the match ended in a 0-0 draw.
The rescheduled round 13 took place at Rockwell Automation Park on Tuesday and Thursday nights.
Tuesday night saw the U17s look to continue their fine season and they did in some style via a 6-0 victory over Olympic.
Scorers for the Bears were; J Golding, L Doyle, L Nicol and heading up the tunnel with the match ball was C Robinson after a bagging a super hat trick.
The 19s up and down year continued with a 2-0 defeat.
Thursday night saw the resurgent 23s claim a share of the points in a 1-1 draw.
First grade needed a win to continue their semi final hopes. This was delivered via a jamie Subat goal in the 15th minute which was enough for the Bears to take all 3 points and move to 4th on the ladder and only 2 points off the pace.
